create ways to use your hot chocolate powder

Now that spring is upon us and the days are starting to warm up, what should you do with your drinking chocolate which is sitting neglected in the pantry?

There is so much you can use your Nib + Noble drinking chocolate for, not just hot chocolate.  Below we have listed some ideas for you so that you can still enjoy your drinking chocolate in the warmer months!

Chocolate smoothies

Add your Nib + Noble drinking chocolate to your smoothies for a chocolate hit.  Our favourite combo is chocolate and peanut butter.  Make sure you sneak some greens in there also for an extra nutrient boost.

Chocolate

Make chocolate by melting down some cacao butter or coconut oil, add some vanilla and a pinch of salt, stir some drinking chocolate in, stir to dissolve.  Pop the mixture in silicone molds and put in the fridge until firm.  Voila!  You now have healthy chocolate on hand when your cravings hit.

Iceblocks

Combine 2 cups milk, 2 tablespoons drinking chocolate, ½ cup water, ½ cup chocolate chips in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over a low heat.  Whisk until the choc chips have melted and combined.  Let the mixture cool, and pour into iceblock molds and freeze.  Makes approx. 8 iceblocks.

Iced chocolate

Dissolve 3-4 heaped teaspoons of drinking chocolate to a small amount of boiled water to form a paste, add 250ml milk or milk substitute and stir well until combined.  Add icecubes.
